To select this job as one of interest to you, at a minimum, you must have the following:
Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software, Electrical or Electronics or related degrees or equivalent experience
Minimum 7 years of hands-on QA analysis and software testing experience in an agile software development environment with at least 2 years of QA team lead experience.
Experienced in Manual, Functional, Regression and Integration testing of desktop, web and mobile applications
Proficiency in the use of at least one programming language such as Java(preferable), C#, C, C++ and one scripting language like python (preferable), Perl or shell
Detail-oriented and logical thinker with strong analytical skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experienced in manual testing and automation of desktop, web, enterprise, or mobile applications focused on User interface verification
Experienced in working with Test Management tools such as Client Quality Center, Tricentis qTest etc.
Experienced in working with Defect Management Tools such as ClearQuest, JIRA etc.
Experienced in working with and leading geographically dispersed teams including offshore teams
Experience in training, mentoring and guiding the junior team members in the testing effort
Familiarity with Cyber Security, Dynamic Application Security, Penetration and Vulnerability Testing
Familiarity in SOA architecture and SOAP and Rest web services and API testing
Familiarity in Mobile App automation and testing using Appium on Android and iOS platforms
Results oriented, product focused with excellent attention to detail and quality
Self-motivated in getting the tasks completed, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with teams and be a team player
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide hands on technical leadership to the team, including your own testing contributions
Lead a team of geographically dispersed US and offshore QA engineers
Lead the test planning, test management and test automation effort for Desktop and Web based software applications that interact with S&C smart electric devices and electronic control boards.
Lead the test automation development effort using Robot, Python, Selenium, Java, Webdriver, TestNG, Review software requirements and specifications documents.
Create and review QA documents such as test strategy, test plans, test specifications, test estimates, test cases, test summary, test results, defects reports.
Use test management tools to plan, manage, execute testing and broadcast test results.
Help in Installing and maintaining the smart electric devices and electronic control boards in the QA lab
Prepare reliable testing estimates, monitor test schedules and progress, and report test status.
Work closely with the project team including Product Management, Development, Project Management and other QA teams.
Up to 5% potential travel per year.
