Summary We are looking for a precision-oriented professional with experience with quality testing procedures. The successful candidate's primary function and role will deal with the testing and validation of production parts and characterization of engineering samples through proof pressure testing and pressure drop testing. Job Responsibilities Validate testing requirements for proof pressure testing for each part including test fluid, test pressure, test duration and any other requirements Examine parts for flaws such as cracks, chips, and leaks Validate testing requirements for pressure drop pressure testing for each part including test fluid, test temperature, pressure differential and any other requirements Examine parts for internal blockages, leaks and other modes of failure Adjust, use and choose all necessary testing equipment for use in the work area as needed. Be able to read and interpret test gauges Be able to troubleshoot and problem solve issues related to fluid systems Keep detailed record of preformed tests and document failures Perform periodic calibrations and checks to confirm that all equipment is within calibration Minimum Requirements Six months of testing or data recording experience in a manufacturing environment Able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and repeatedly Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent green card holder Preferred Proficient in MS Word and Excel Brazing, machining, heat treating, plating, welding, mechanical and/or non-destructive testing experience Experience with Client processes and rejecting parts while providing detailed descriptions
